Jennie Vegt is an Edmonton based contemporary artist, independently pursuing her painting career.

Jennie's ongoing mission is to create moments and characters that resonate with the viewer. Her colourful paintings are stalked with nostalgia, idealism, and confident vulnerability.

Deeply committed to her ventures, Jennie has immersed herself in the Edmonton arts community since graduating with her BFA at the University of Alberta. As a participating artist at local venues, she has enjoyed being the Artist in Residence at City Hall as well as a Jury Member for the Edmonton Arts Council. Though she loves the Edmonton art scene, her work also travels to art fairs in Toronto and New York.

Currently, she is working on a new body of work to be displayed later this year.
